Hi. Thank you very much for such good service and wonderful dishes. My sister and her family are extremely happy. They said this reminded them of our growing up days. You have made us all very happy. Best wishes and may you be blessed with ongoing success. --Jean W.
Got my order and the wait was well worth it. Joann said she had not tasted pierogies like that since she was a child growing up in Pittsburgh and going to her grammas every Sunday. I am sure we will order again soon. --Musicman
Helen, I just wanted to tell you that my husband says your stuffed cabbage were the best he's ever had. That's quite a compliment from someone who grew up eating them every Sunday! Thank you! --Patty S.
Helen--thank you! I received the order yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the crab cakes last night. They were exactly as described - delicious! Everything arrived in perfect order and I'm looking forward to enjoying some pierogies tonight! Thank you, again, for your help and hard work. --Diane F.
Helen--Your food was the hit of our wedding reception! Everyone commented on the wonderful selection (and especially the pierogies). You helped us provide an evening for people to remember. --Larry & Jennifer
Dear Helen, we received our order yesterday, and had a most wonderful dinner last night! You guys do an incredible job--thanks for all your hard work! --Stephanie
Today, I and my daughter in Virginia received the orders I had placed. She called to tell me about them as she was eating them. All she kept saying was, "They're just like the ones Grandma and Babci used to make."(Babci, pierogi, kielbasi and kishki is the extent of her Polish.) I think her phone call exceeded the cost of the pierogis. As for me, all I want to say is that I've tried the rest and now I have found the best. Keep up the good work and God bless you and all your employees. --Peter P.
Dear Helen: Thank you, thank you, thank you! My husband and I made your pierogi recipe, as printed on Bobby Flay's webpage, but, instead of adding jalepenos to the mixture, we added cheddar cheese. They were delicious! We served them along with some kielbasa and sauerkraut... a Polish feast!! My guests were so impressed with how light the pierogies were. I was a little shocked myself. The last time I tried to make them, they tasted like lead sinkers. Thank you for giving me a recipe that actually worked! Best of luck with your business. I'll be sure to pass your name along to any friends passing through the Pittsburgh area. Take care. --Staci G.
Helen:I wanted to thank you and your staff. I ordered several things for my grandfather, Leonard Manyluk, as a Christmas gift. I was late in ordering so he didn't receive his package from you until around January 12. It was worth the wait. I remember my grandfather telling me about his mother and his childhood. His father was Ukrainian and his mother was Polish and they came to America when he was quite young. He would tell me about the wonderful things his mother would cook, like pierogies and such, and it seemed like his most dear memories of his mother were connected with the wonderful food she made. When I found you online, I hoped to just give him something nice that he could remember his childhood by. My grandmother called and told me how touched Papa was as soon as he opened the package. He loved to be greeted first by a wonderful scripture. Thank you for that. He loved to find surprise after surprise as he found different pierogies and things all the way down to the cabbage rolls. Thank you for that. But what meant most to me, and to him, was that the very first bite brought tears to his eyes. He told my grandmother that this was the taste he had looked for since he was a boy. The taste that was so authentic it was exactly the way he remembered his mother's cooking. The taste you can't find in the grocery store. You gave my dear grandfather his mother back, if only for a meal. How can I thank you for that? There aren't words to express my gratitude. As I write this, tears are running down my cheeks. I had to write and tell you how wonderful you are. All of you. Never let yourselves believe that you are just people who cook to earn a paycheck. You are so much more. You are the people who bake comfort and joy every day and send it all over the world. You are the people who take the time to care to make sure every detail is perfect, which is something so rare and beautiful these days. You are the people whose work gave an old man his mother and his childhood back one last time after a lifetime of searching. Thank you. Thank you so very much. There are few who will ever be so valuable as you as long as you continue to put so much of yourselves and your love into your work. God Bless you all. --Ruthy B.
Helen--just got my order and have made some already. THEY ARE DELICIOUS, the best I think I have tried yet. I will be back for more and have told my friends, too. They will also be ordering soon. Keep up the great work, and thanks. Good ones are hard to find. --Janet |
